THE FLATS – For the first time since 2019, Bobby Dodd Stadium will be at full capacity on Saturday when Georgia Tech football hosts Northern Illinois for the 2021 season opener (7:30 p.m.). This is the second in a two-part series that highlights some of the things that fans should look for when they return to The Flats this season. Part 2 focuses on things to look for after fans enter Bobby Dodd Stadium.
GAME THEMES AND PROMOTIONS
The following themes and promotions are set for Georgia Tech football home games in 2021:
Sept. 4 vs. Northern Illinois – WhiteOut
Sept. 11 vs. Kennesaw State – Heroes Day
Sept. 25 vs. North Carolina – Mayhem at Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Oct. 2 vs. Pitt – Family Weekend, Hall of Fame Induction
Oct. 30 vs. Virginia Tech – Homecoming, 1990 National Championship 30th Anniversary Celebration (delayed one year due to Covid-19 pandemic)
Nov. 13 vs. Boston College – Space Day
Nov. 27 vs. Georgia – Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate, Senior Day
STADIUM UPGRADES
With limited capacity at Bobby Dodd Stadium last season, many Georgia Tech fans have yet to see first-hand the many upgrades that have been made to college football’s oldest on-campus stadium in recent offseasons. The upgrades include new stadium lights, new sound system, improved signage, fresh paint throughout the stadium, refreshed restroom facilities and a new playing field.

Pregame Discounts
To encourage fans to enter the stadium early to avoid game-time congestion at the entrance gates and be on hand for the best pregame show in college football, Georgia Tech athletics is offering a pregame concessions discounts to all fans on items purchased from the time that gates open (90 minutes before kickoff) until 30 minutes prior to kickoff. Mobile Ordering
Fans can stay in their seats for more of the exciting action of Georgia Tech football and still enjoy Bobby Dodd Stadium’s great concessions offerings by utilizing mobile ordering via the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets app. To order concessions via a mobile device, simply download the free Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets app and click on “Concessions Mobile Order” in the main menu. From there, concessions can be ordered from and paid for online, then picked up from one of six conveniently located concession stands throughout the stadium without waiting in the standard ordering line.
Grab and Go
Fans can also get quick drinks or snacks at Bobby Dodd Stadium’s grab-and-go concession stand, located on the West Festival near section 107.
Techwood Market
Once again in 2021, the footprint of Bobby Dodd Stadium will be expanded on gamedays onto Techwood Drive on the east side of the stadium and include Techwood Market. Techwood Market features a wide range of concessions options that are available to fans throughout the game, beginning 90 minutes prior to kickoff through the start of the third quarter. Techwood Market not only presents fans with additional concessions options at Bobby Dodd Stadium, but also helps alleviate congestion and shorten lines at all concessions locations on the east side of the stadium.
SEASON TICKET MEMBER DISCOUNTS
Georgia Tech season ticket members will once again receive a discount on a wide range of concessions offerings – including hot dogs, pretzels, nachos, popcorn, candy, soft drinks and more – at stands throughout Bobby Dodd Stadium. For a full list of season ticket member discounts, click HERE.

ALCOHOL SALES/SAFE RIDE HOME
Beer and wine will be available for purchase by fans 21 years of age and older throughout Bobby Dodd Stadium in 2021. Guests are limited to the purchase of two alcoholic beverages per legal ID, per transaction. Alcohol sales will end at the conclusion of the third quarter.
All students that are 21 years of age or older that wish to consume alcoholic beverages within the Georgia Tech student section must visit the designated ID check station to receive a wristband and hand stamp to purchase and consume alcohol. Students consuming alcoholic beverages without a wristband and hand stamp will be removed from the student section and the beverage be taken and emptied. An ID check will be performed and if the student is under 21 years of age, an underage drinking citation will be issued.
“Safe Ride” Designated Driving
“Safe Ride” is Georgia Tech’s Designated Driver Partner that provides professional, designated driving to make sure fans always have a solution for getting home safely. Fans looking to utilize the “Safe Ride” service should visit their booth that’s located on the north concourse near section 114 at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

MERCHANDISE LOCATIONS
Official Georgia Tech apparel and other Yellow Jackets merchandise can be purchased at locations on the West Terrace, North Concourse (section 114) and Techwood Market (east side of stadium).
GAMEDAY PROGRAMS
Gameday programs at Georgia Tech football home games will be 100% digital in 2021 and available for free to all fans via the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets app or online at ramblinwreck.com.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets mobile app is a must-have for fans on gameday at Bobby Dodd Stadium and beyond. At Bobby Dodd Stadium, guests can utilize the app to order concessions, view the gameday program, participate in the Ramblin’ Light Show and more.
