Volleyball Sells Out Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate

THE FLATS – No. 18 Georgia Tech volleyball has sold out general admission tickets for its Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate match against Georgia on Saturday at 7 p.m. in O’Keefe Gymnasium, as announced on Friday. The sellout marks the first for the Yellow Jackets this season.

Although general admission tickets have been sold out, limited seating remains available for Georgia Tech students with free admission at the door on a first-come, first-served basis. A valid BuzzCard must be displayed in order for students to receive a ticket to the match.

Saturday’s match against the Dawgs will be a “Whiteout,” and all fans attending are encouraged to wear white. Fans unable to attend the match may follow along as the match will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra, and live stats will be provided.

The Jackets enter the rivalry matchup riding a four-game win streak after sweeping Arkansas in Raleigh, N.C. on Thursday. Georgia Tech’s only blemish on the season remains at the hands of No. 19 UCLA (previously 18) as the Yellow Jackets boast an 8-1 record, including a season-opening victory over No. 20 Penn State (previously 12). Georgia (4-6) enters the contest on the heels of a four-set loss at NC State in its first match of the ACC/SEC Challenge.
