CLEMSON, S.C. – Georgia Tech track & field wrapped up the Bob Pollock Invitational on Saturday with three top 10 finishes in track events.
The top finisher for Tech on the day was Alex Thomas who placed fifth in the men’s 800m crossing the line at 1:50.37.
The women’s 3000m had two top 10 Jackets finishers with Liz Galarza placing seventh and Claire Moritz placing eighth with times of 9:34.52 and 9:35.31, respectively.
Tech competed in three more events on the day, the women’s 800m, men’s 3000m and women’s 200m.
Allie Walker and Haley Unthank were the top finishers in the women’s 800m turning in times of 2:19.83 and 2:20.77, respectively.
In the 200m, Sheleah Harris (25.33) and Jillian Catton (25.44) clocked the best times for Georgia Tech.
The final event for the Yellow Jackets on the day was the men’s 3000m. John Higinbotham ran the event in 8:18.61.
The White and Gold return to action next weekend at the JDL Camel City Invitational and Doc Hale Elite Meet.
