THE FLATS – After two days in Gainesville, Georgia Tech track and field concluded competition at the Florida Relays.
The top performer of the day was Jamir Gibson in the men’s discus. Gibson placed second with a mark of 56.56 meters (185-6).
Sheleah Harris earned an impressive finish in the women’s 100m. She recorded a new personal-best time of 11.49 and placed 10th overall.
Parker Buchheit and Kayla Rose represented Tech in the men’s and women’s 800m. Buchheit finished seventh (1:50.32) for the men and Rose ran a personal-best time of 2:09.47 in the women’s race.
