Tech's Leason Earns All-America Honors in Triple Jump

ATLANTA (June 2) – Georgia Tech’s Malcolm Leason earned all-America honors with an eighth-place finish in the triple jump at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships Friday at Duke’s Wallace Wade Stadium. The senior from Wilmington, Del., had a leap of 52 feet-6.75 inches.

The NCAA Championships conclude Saturday, when Tech’s Bryan Swarn competes in the finals of the 400 meters and then anchors Tech’s 4×400-meter relay team in the finals. Senior Michael Johnson, sophomore Aaron Sink and freshman Sharif Azim join Swarn on the relay team.
