Tech's Lauren Reimer Captures Clemson Pentathlon

CLEMSON, S.C. – Georgia Tech’s Lauren Reimer (New Braunfels, Texas) tallied a first-place finish at the Clemson Pentathlon tonight, scoring 3,535 points in the new Clemson Indoor Track and Field facility. Sophomore Alexandra Van Heuven (Burke, Va.) posted a third-place finish for the Yellow Jackets, tallying 3,002 points.

The 23rd-ranked Georgia Tech women’s track and field team, as well as the men’s track and field team, will compete in the Gator Invitational Sunday, Feb. 1. The track meet will host a number of ranked teams and will run all day.
