Tech to Host 2006 NCAA South Regional at Georgia Dome

Georgia Tech has been selected as the host institution for the 2006 NCAA Men’s Basketball South Regional, the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Committee announced Wednesday.

The 2006 NCAA South Regional is scheduled for March 23 and 25 at the Georgia Dome.

The 2006 South Regional is in addition to the 2003 NCAA Women’s Final Four, the 2004 Men’s South Regional, and the 2007 Men’s Final Four already scheduled for Atlanta and the Georgia Dome. Georgia Tech will host either an NCAA Regional or Final Four six out of seven years from 2001-2007.
