Georgia Tech (15-17, 2-1 ACC)
The Yellow Jackets continue ACC action this weekend after two weeks off from conference play. Tech’s last conference series was March 9-10 when the Jackets took two games from Virginia in Charlottesville.

Tech dominated Kennesaw State, 17-3, in five innings in its most recent action. Ashley Thomas went 3-for-5 with three runs and Hope Rush was 2-for-three with four RBI, two runs and a walk.

As a team, Tech is hitting .292 led by Ashley Thomas (.402).  Thomas leads the squad in runs (33), hits (43) and stolen bases (17). Power hitter Hope Rush has a team-high 11 home runs and is slugging .716.

Rush is 8-10 in the circle with a 3.89 ERA. The senior has yet to pitch in a conference game as Karly Fullem, Ashley Clifton and Kylie Kleinschmidt split the work at Virginia.

NC State (14-14-1, 2-3 ACC)
The Wolfpack is 3-7 in its last 10 games and 2-3 in conference play. NC State dropped all three games to Florida State to open its ACC slate, but took two games from then-No. 19 Virginia Tech, by scores of 10-2 (5) and 9-2, on March 23.

Scout Albertson leads the Pack offense with a .333 batting average and Renada Davis owns a team-best 20 runs on 26 hits with 12 home runs and 22 RBI.

Starter Emily Weiman (12-13) owns a 1.89 ERA and has pitched 152.0 innings with 130 strikeouts. Chelsea Stanfield  (2-1) is her relief with 26 earned runs in 34.1 innings of work for a 5.30 ERA.

Series History
Tech is 20-8 all-time against the Pack. The Jackets swept NC State last season in Raleigh, capping the series with a 5-2 victory on April 1.

Perkins Closes In On 100 ACC Wins
Georgia Tech Head Coach Sharon Perkins needs just nine more ACC wins to reach 100 in her career. The seven-year skipper has a conference record of 91-33 (.734).
