THE FLATS – Georgia Tech track & field continued a split weekend in Raleigh, N.C. and Tallahassee, Fla. on Friday with continued top performances
In Tallahassee, Tech had several top finishes at the Florida State Relays. The men’s team saw Henrik Anderson finished second in the men’s 1500m (3:47.60). The men’s 800m was dominated by Jackets with Harrison Fultz (1:53.06), Mac Bloodworth (1:53.20) and Parker Buchheit (1:54.95) finished second, third and fourth, respectively.
The women’s team in Tallahassee performed especially well in the 400m events. Ilene Soleyn and Haley Unthank finished first and second in the 400m with times of 56.97 and 57.60, respectively. In the 400m hurdles, Lydia Troupe finished third (1:00.37).
In Raleigh, Mary Kathryn Knott and Claire Moritz ran the women’s 5000m turning in times of 16:35.82 and 16:54.78, respectively.
The White and Gold continue the weekend in Raleigh at the Raleigh Relays.
