Tech Baseball Adds Game vs. Western Carolina

April 3, 2009

Georgia Tech will make a day trip to Cullowhee, N.C. to play a single game against Western Carolina one day after the Catamounts make the trek to Atlanta to face the Yellow Jackets.

The two teams are scheduled to play in Atlanta Tuesday, April 21 at 6 p.m., and will meet again Wednesday, April 22 at 6 p.m. in Cullowhee.

With the addition, the Yellow Jackets now have five games scheduled for each of the next three weeks leading up to final exams.

The Catamounts, coached by former Tech associate head coach Bobby Moranda, are currently 18-7 on the season.

Tech has fallen victim to bad weather through the first six weeks of the season, with four games cancelled due to rain and another to snow.
