Will Clement joined the Georgia Tech Athletic Association full-time in August 2013 as the operations and facilities coordinator for the Ken Byers Tennis Complete, before being promoted to his current role of event and facilities coordinator. He also serves as the director of team operations for both the men’s and women’s tennis teams, as well as the men’s and women’s swimming & diving team.
He previously worked as a game operations and facility management intern at Georgia Tech from August 2012 to January 2013.
In his current roles, he serves as the event manager for all home tennis and swimming events, as well as the coordinator for the Jackets’ home football games. He also manages the Ken Byers Tennis Complex and the Varsity Team Lounge Space at the McAuley Aquatic Center, helps plan event and facility budgets for the upcoming fiscal year for both tennis and swimming and supervises the CRC tennis staff.
He also is responsible for the team operations of the men’s and women’s tennis teams and the swimming and diving team, which included organizing and communicating travel for both staff and team, incoming recruits, and recruiting trips. He serves as the liaison for alumni events within tennis and swimming and diving and assists with the purchase, organization, and disbursement of apparel, as well as visiting team needs such as hotels, food and travel when competing on The Flats.
Clement has served as the tournament manager for ITA Tennis Regionals and NCAA Tennis Regionals events held at Georgia Tech and helped coordinate external events held at GTAA such as the Rolling Stones Concert, Major League Soccer, WNBA, etc.
He has also assisted with the coordination for the 2017 NCAA Women’s Tennis Regionals and the 2015 & 2017 ACC Swimming & Diving Championships, as well as the 2016 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships, the 2013 NCAA Men’s Golf Championships and the 2013 NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four.
Clement graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sport management from Georgia Southern University in 2012.
