Tevin Washington, a two-year starting quarterback and four-year letterwinner at Georgia Tech from 2008-12, was promoted to associate director of player personnel in 2018 after spending two years as a graduate assistant coach on Georgia Tech’s football staff.
Washington assisted with the Yellow Jackets’ quarterbacks and running backs as a G.A. before moving into the full-time role on Tech’s recruiting staff.
As a student-athlete at Georgia Tech, Washington was the Yellow Jackets’ starting quarterback for 31-straight games to close his collegiate career, including three-consecutive bowl games.
He rewrote the school and conference record books, finishing his career ranked first or second in Georgia Tech history in 11 different statistical categories and setting ACC records for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in a season (20 as a senior in 2012) and career (38).
After graduating from Tech in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in management, Washington entered the workforce as a manager for AT&T in the Atlanta area. He also provided private instruction for local skill position players, primarily quarterbacks and receivers before returning to The Flats in 2016.
The Wetumpka, Ala. native earned a master’s degree in building construction and facilities management from Georgia Tech in 2018.
