Tevin Washington, a two-year starting quarterback and four-year letterwinner at Georgia Tech from 2008-12, is in his second year as a graduate assistant at his alma mater. Washington assists with the Yellow Jackets’ quarterbacks and B-backs.
As a student-athlete at Georgia Tech, Washington was at the helm of head coach Paul Johnson’s offense for 31-straight games to close his collegiate career, including three-straight bowl games.
He rewrote the school and conference record books, finishing his career ranked first or second in Georgia Tech history in 11 different statistical categories and setting ACC records for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in a season (20 as a senior in 2012) and career (38).
After graduating from Tech in 2012, Washington utilized the management degree he earned as a manager for AT&T in the Atlanta area. He also provided private instruction for local skill position players, primarily quarterbacks and receivers before returning to The Flats prior to the 2016 campaign.
Washington is a native of Wetumpka, Ala.
