Rebecca Gaddy arrived at Georgia Tech as a postgraduate intern in August 2022. She served as the primary contact for Cross Country/Track and Field, Swimming and Diving, Men’s Tennis and the secondary contact for Men’s Basketball during the 2022-23 season.
Prior to Georgia Tech, Gaddy graduated from Northeastern University in May 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and minor in Sports, Media and Communication. At Northeastern, she was a member of the field hockey team and worked in the Athletic Communications department for 2-3 years.
Gaddy began working with the Huskies as a co-op in January 2020. During her co-op, she aided in the media coverage, statistical responsibilities and game day/meet day experience for the Men’s Basketball, Women’s Ice Hockey and the Cross Country/Track and Field teams. She continued to assist the department throughout the 2020-21 season as a work study. Gaddy spent the past year as the Jack Grinold Athletic Communications Intern and served as the primary contact for Field Hockey, Cross Country and Track and Field.
As the contact for Cross Country and Track and Field, she created the program’s first ever men’s and women’s record books.
