Reid Ferrin joined the Georgia Tech Athletic Association student services team as an academic coordinator in November 2015.
Prior to coming to The Flats, Ferrin worked in the National Football League (NFL) for the Atlanta Falcons from 2014-16 and the Kansas City Chiefs from 2012-14.
He also worked as a freelance sports reporter for the Sports Perspective, as a production assistant for SportsCenter.com and as a web video producer for Seminoles.com at Florida State University.
While working towards his degree at Bemidji State University, Ferrin served as the sports director, anchor and play-by-play commentator for KAWE-TV, KSAX-TV and KBSB-FM radio in Minnesota.
He is a two-time graduate of Bemidji State, earning his bachelor’s degree in mass communications with an emphasis and radio/TV in 1999 and his master’s degree in sport studies in 2008.
