Kyle Apat joined the Georgia Tech Athletic Association staff as assistant director of video operations in August 2015. He was promoted to broadcast engineer in February 2022 and served in that role until July 2024.
He maintains and produces video content for GT athletics and produces all ESPN3 and ACC Network productions.
Prior to coming to The Flats, Apat worked at his alma mater the College of Charleston for seven years. He started out as a multimedia intern (2009-12) and then moved up to a multimedia assistant (2012-13), before being promoted to associate director of multimedia for the entire athletics department in 2013.
Apat earned his bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies from College of Charleston in 2012.
