After two years as a graduate assistant and three years as a student manager, Justin Wrenn joined Georgia Tech’s basketball staff in a full-time capacity in June, 2022, as analytics and assistant video coordinator.
Among Wrenn’s responsibilities are charting custom team statistics during practices and games, preparing scouting video, delivering post-game statistical reports, and assisting with team operations. He also is the primary liaison for the team’s implementation of wearable technology, Kinexon.
Wrenn served as a graduate assistant from June 2020 through May 2022, scheduling and managing use of Tech’s basketball facilities, assisting in skill development workouts, and overseeing the Yellow Jackets’ student managers. He was one of those managers for three years as an undergraduate student at Tech.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration in May of 2020 and completed his Master of Science degree in analytics in May of 2022.
A native of Marietta, Ga., Wrenn attended Hillgrove High School and is now married to the former Rachel Thompson.
