Emma Ferguson joined Georgia Tech athletics as an administration professional in February 2025. She graduated from Kennesaw State University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations in May 2024. With a strong background in communication, she brings experience in strategic messaging, brand development and community engagement. Ferguson is currently working towards a master’s degree in integrated global communications at Kennesaw State University.
During her time as an undergraduate at Kennesaw State University, Ferguson studied global communication, public opinion and media strategy, gaining a well-rounded understanding of how athletics serve as a platform for outreach and connection. She is eager to apply her expertise in a dynamic athletic setting, helping teams and organizations strengthen their engagement and impact.
Originally from Woodstock, Ga., Ferguson was a competitive cheerleader and has coached a special abilities cheer team for over eight years. From her time in athletics, she has developed leadership, mentorship and program development skills while fostering an inclusive and supportive team environment.
