Caleb Swann became general manager of Georgia Tech Sports Properties in November 2019.
Swann came to Georgia Tech from the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies, where he was senior director of development for partnership marketing for a year-and-a-half. Prior to his stint in Memphis, he spent nearly three years at Auburn, first as a senior account executive for Auburn IMG Sports Marketing (August 2015-April 2016), then as director of partnership development for Auburn Sports Properties (a division of Fox Sports) from April 2016-April 2018. In the latter role, he acted as the main liaison between university administrators, the athletics director and Fox executives during the Auburn’s transition to a new multimedia rights partner.
Swann has also served as a senior sales executive at Atlanta Motor Speedway (March 2013-August 2015), an account executive for Southern Miss IMG Sports Marketing (March 2011-March 2013) and a marketing assistant at Samford (July 2010-March 2011).
He was a baseball student-athlete at Berry College before transferring to Auburn, where he was president of AU’s marketing association and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2010. A Cumming, Ga. native, Swann and his wife, Laura (a Lawrenceville, Ga. native) have two children: daughter, Evelyn, and son, Julian.
