2018 (Freshman): Saw action in all 13 games as a true freshman … Registered 15 tackles, primarily as a reserve linebacker … Two of his 15 tackles came on kickoff coverage … All 15 tackles came in the first eight games of the season … Recorded multiple stops in four of the first eight games of the campaign – two at Louisville (Oct. 5), three vs. Alcorn State (Sept. 1) and at USF (Sept. 8) and a season-high four vs. Bowling Green (Sept. 29) … Also had single tackles against Pitt (Sept. 15), Duke (Oct. 13) and Virginia Tech (Oct. 25).

Personal: Will wear No. 4 in 2021, as Georgia Tech football has temporarily retired his previous number, No. 44, for the ’21 season in honor of Atlanta icon Henry “Hank” Aaron, who died in January … Has five siblings … Cousin, Greg Lloyd, was a five-time Pro Bowler, three-time first-team All-Pro and 1994 AFC Defensive Player of the Year as an 11-year NFL star for the Pittsburgh Steelers (1998-97) and Carolina Panthers (1998) … Quez started playing football when he was four years old … Majoring in history, technology and society.
