Lettered for two seasons of baseball under head coach Mike Ruck at Yorktown High School… Was a first-team All-District and second-team All-Region pick at shortstop in 2012… Helped lead Yorktown to the 2012 district title… Hit .420 as a senior with two homers, 19 RBI and five stolen bases… Was an All-District outfielder in 2011… Also lettered two years in wresting and earned All-District accolades… Was a four-year honor roll student and in the National Honor Society.
