As a Senior In 2009-10: Was a part of the 200-Medley Relay team that took sixth place (1:28.55) at the ACC Championships … Took 11th in the 100-Back (48.82) and 17th in the 200-Back (1:47.06) with season best performances at the ACC Championships … earned a third place finish in the 100-Back in a dual meet with NC State finishing in a time of 52.24 … touched the wall second in the 100-Back with a time of 51.77 at Duke … earned a second place showing in the 200-Back vs. national powerhouse Florida coming in with a time of 1:54.77.
As A Junior In 2008-09: Finished 29th in the 200-Back (1:43.96) at the NCAA Championships … On the 200-Medley Relay team which placed 17th at NCAA’s with a time of 1:27.20 … Part of the school record-setting 400-Medley Relay team which posted a 14th-place finish at the NCAA Championships (3:11.01) … Swam the first leg of the 200-Medley Relay team which set an ACC and school record (1:26.00) at the ACC Championships … Mark of 47.57 in the 100-Back at the ACC Championships set a school record, while his 1:43.23 in the 200-Back was also a school record.
Before Georgia Tech: Transferred from Purdue University … Joined Boilermakers midway through the 2006-07 season … Made Dean’s List, the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and received semester honors in the spring of 2007 … Posted team’s fastest time in the 100 back (49.01), which earned him 11th place at Big Ten’s and fourth place among all performers in Purdue history … Also placed 11th in the 200 back with a mark of 1:46.26, which was the team’s second fastest time of the season … Also at Big Ten’s, competed in the 50 free and swam leadoff for the seventh-place 400 medley relay that posted a time of 3:14.90 … Leadoff split was clocked at 49.04 … In his first collegiate weekend of competition, placed third at Michigan in the 200 back and won both backstroke races at Michigan State … Won the 200 back vs. Indiana with time of 1:47.39 … Recorded a pair of top-five finishes in the backstroke events at the Wisconsin/Minnesota Triangular … Swam a 48.88 in the 100-back at the 2007-08 Big Ten Championships, the highest time on the team for the season … Time of 1:46.71 in the 200-back at the Purdue Invitational was the second-fastest on the team of last season.
