THE FLATS – Georgia Tech softball has sold out of stadium seating and standing room only tickets for its final contest of the weekend conference series against No. 3 Florida State on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Mewborn Field.
Although general admission tickets have sold out, free admission remains available for Georgia Tech students at the gate on a first-come, first-served basis while student ticket availability lasts. A valid BuzzCard must be displayed in order for students to receive a ticket to the game.
The full sellout marks the second of the season. Tech also hit capacity in game two of Friday’s doubleheader against Florida State, selling out briefly before the game.
The Yellow Jackets (15-7, 0-5 ACC) and Seminoles (22-1, 4-1 ACC) will square off in the series finale following a 12-inning nail biter to conclude Friday’s doubleheader.
Sunday’s matchup will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra. The highly contested battle will be accompanied by Youth Day promotions, featuring a post-game catch session on the field.
