Scott McLaren Joins Tech Staff

Scott McLaren, formerly the assistant ticket manager at Florida State, has been named Director of Ticket Management for the Georgia Tech Athletic Association, Director of Athletics Dave Braine announced.

A member of the Florida State athletics staff since 1996, McLaren served two years as assistant ticket manager following four years as information technology manager.

Before joining the FSU staff, he previously worked for the Office of the Auditor General in Tallahassee, Fla., and for the Department of Veterans Affairs in Birmingham, Ala.

A native of Griffin, Ga., McLaren earned a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Florida State in 1992. He lettered one year for the Seminoles’ football team.
