2020 (Redshirt Sophomore – “Covid Year” – year of eligibility retained): Started all 10 games at cornerback, stretching his streak of consecutive starts to 19 … Finished sixth on the team with 37 tackles … Tied for team lead with two interceptions and five pass breakups … Led team with seven passes defended … Opened the season with a career-high seven tackles and a pass breakup in 16-13 win at Florida State (Sept. 12) … Notched first interception of the season at Syracuse (Sept. 26) … Had four tackles, an interception and a pass breakup against eventual ACC champion and College Football Playoff participant Clemson (Oct. 17) … Recorded five tackles and was in on a tackle for loss at Boston College (Oct. 24) … Returned a fumble 93 yards for a touchdown against eventual College Football Playoff participant Notre Dame (Oct. 31), good for the longest official fumble return in Georgia Tech history … Tallied five tackles – all solo – and a pass breakup at NC State (Dec. 5) … Also had five stops and a PBU in season finale versus Pitt (Dec. 10).
2019 (Redshirt Freshman): Appeared in all 12 games, making 11 starts at cornerback … Finished with 29 tackles (23 solo) and three pass breakups … Recorded three tackles (two solo) in the season-opener at then-No. 1 Clemson (Aug. 29) … Also turned in two tackles (one solo) and tied a career-high with two pass breakups at Temple (Sept. 28) … Registered four tackles (three solo) and one pass breakups against North Caroline (Oct. 5) … Took down three offensive players at Miami (Fla.) on Oct. 19 … Recorded five solo tackles at Virginia (Nov. 9) … Totaled a then-career-high six tackles (five solo) in the primetime victory over NC State (Nov. 21) … Also recorded a solo tackle against then-No. 4 Georgia (Nov. 30).
2018 (True Freshman): Redshirted due to seeing action in only four games – Sept. 1 vs. Alcorn State, Sept. 8 at USF, Sept. 22 vs. Clemson and Oct. 25 at Virginia Tech … Had three pass breakups, good for third on the team, in just four games, including two vs. Clemson … Recorded four tackles – two vs. Clemson and two at Virginia Tech … Was one of 13 true freshmen to see game action for the Yellow Jackets.
