As A Sophomore In 2012-13: Put together and impressive sophomore campaign on the Flats… Set career-best times in six different event… Was the Jackets[apos] second-fastest in the 200 back in 2012-13, putting down a career-best 1:49.76 at the Yellow Jacket Championship Qualifier… Won the 200 back — his first career win — during the Jackets[apos] season-opening win over College of Charleston… Also used the Yellow Jacket Championship Qualifier for career-best times in the 100 back (50.34), the 200 IM (1:53.10) and the 100 free (46.72).

As A Freshman In 2011-12: A versatile swimmer who posted best times in six different events during the season… Four of his season-bests came at the Virginia Tech Invitational in the 200 free (1:42.32), the 100 back (51.24), the 200 back (1:49.97) and the 200 IM (1:54.00)… He put down a 22.16 in the 50 free at the Georgia Tech Invitational… Was clocked in the 48.91 in the 100 free on the lead-off leg of the 400 free relay versus Georgia.

High School: A four year letterwinner under the direction of Kent Nicholson at Norman North High School … Captained his team during his senior season … Helped his team to the First Mid-State Conference Championship in school history in 2008 … Conference Champions in each of his four years at Norman North … Named All-State by the Oklahoma Swimming Coaches … Graduated as the school record holder in six events: the 200 IM, 500 free, 100 back, 200 medley relay, 200 free relay and 400 free relay … A three-time Oklahoma High School State Champion in the 200 IM (2010, 2011) and the 200 medley relay (2011) … Member of the National Honor Society, an Oklahoma Academic Scholar and an AP Scholar.
