Highly-rated guard from Jacksonville, Fla., who graduated early from North Florida Educational Institute and was admitted to Tech in mid-December of 2012 … Certified eligible to play by the NCAA on Dec. 14 and began to practice with the team on Dec. 15 … Younger brother of Tech sophomore Stacey Poole, Jr., making them the first brothers to be on the same Tech team since Jon and Drew Barry in 1991-92, and just the third set of brothers on the same team in Tech history … Played the second semester of the 2012-13 season and the first semester of the 2013-14 season until being dismissed from the team on Feb. 3 for conduct and accountability issues … Wore No. 45 as a freshman, changed to No. 2 for 2013-14.

Started five games, and has averaged 6.4 points and compiled a 29/27 assist/turnover ratio … Scored five points in the ACC opener at Maryland … Had the team’s highest success rate on 3s (35.1 pct.) on 57 attempts (2nd on the team)… Scored a career-high 24 points (9-16 FG, 5-9 3s) against Mississippi at the Barclays Center Classic … Only other double-digit game came at Vanderbilt (11 pts, 3-of-8 on 3s)… Hit a pair of threes and scored eight points against Presbyterian … Followed that with a career-high eight assists and just one turnover against Delaware State … Five points, two assists and one turnover at Georgia… Underwent surgery on his right shoulder following the 2012-13 season to repair a torn labrum, was back on the court for summer drills.
2012-13 – Game-by-Game Statistics
Made his collegiate debut against Alabama State, and played in 21 games (all 18 ACC games) after becoming eligible, scoring at least two points in 13 games while totaling 21 assists … Missed the BC game on March 9 due to a death in the family… Gave Tech 17 important minutes at Virginia Tech and 16 at Miami while Mfon Udofia sat with foul trouble in each half … Hit a three-pointer and had two assists at Virginia Tech; went 2-for-2 from the floor with an assist at Miami… Averaged 9.5 minutes in ACC games, but struggled shooting the ball (28.9 oct. overall).
