As A Junior In 2013-14: Posted career-best times in three events, while establishing top-10 times in school history in three individual events and one relay… Teamed with Andrew Kosic, Ricky Lehner and Nico van Duijn to finish seventh at the ACC Championship in the 400 medley relay and record the second-fastest time in school history of 3:12.16… He swam the 200 medley relay at the ACC Championship with Taylor Wilson, Andrew Chetcuti and Jacob Johnson that placed ninth (1:28.24)… Finished 16th overall at the ACC Championship in the 200 fly in a lifetime best of 1:46.65… Placed 25th at the ACC meet in the 200 IM (1:47.17) — a career-best time and Tech[apos]s second-fastest in school history.
As A Sophomore In 2012-13: Enjoyed a breakout sophomore season and was named the Yellow Jackets[apos] male recipient of the Most Improved Athlete Award… Scored points in the both butterfly events at the ACC Championship — his first career ACC points… Was 14th in the 200 fly in a time of 1:47.41 and was 16th in the 100 fly in 48.53 — both those were career-best times and ranked sixth and 10th, respectively, in school history… Was Tech[apos]s fastest 200 IMer on the season and his career-best time of 1:48.17 ranked fourth all-time at Tech and came during a 20th-place finish at the ACC Championship… Won the 200 IM versus the College of Charleston in the season opener.
As A Freshman In 2011-12: Set three career bests at the ACC Championship with an 18th-place finish in the 200 fly (1:49.56), a 23rd-place in the 400 IM (4:00.43) and a 30th-place in the 200 IM (1:50.92)… Touched the wall in 1:55.49 to finish 19th in the 200 IM at the Georgia Tech Invitational… Also at the GT Invitational, posted a season-best time of 50.87 in taking 25th-place in the 100 fly… Posted a career-best 200 breast time of 2:10.89 in a meet versus NC State and Florida State.
High School: A four year letter winner under Beverly Kelley at Broad Run High School … Captain of the squad during his senior season … Helped his team to the Dulles District Championship in each of his seasons on the team (2008-11), A Four-time VHSL AA Individual State Champion … Named the Broad Run Swimming MVP in his sophomore, junior and senior seasons … A two-time NISCA All-American … Named to the 2011 First Team All-Met by the Washington Post … The 2011 Loudoun Times Male Athlete of the Year.
