2016-17 (Junior): Missed most of the season due to an injury … Swam for the Jackets in three meets, competing in the 100 and 200 back events, the 500 free and on a number of relays … Posted the third-fastest time on the year for the Jackets in the 200 back (1:45.78) … Also recorded the sixth-fastest time for Tech in both the 500 free (4:32.49) and the 100 back (48.37), as well as the eighth-best mark in the 200 free (1:40.50) … Was a member of the 200 free relay (1:21.45), the 400 free relay (2:59.90) and the 400 medley relay (3:16.93) units that registered the third-fastest times on the season for GT … Took second-place overall in the 200 back (1:49.05) in the dual meet with Notre Dame … Placed fourth in the 100 back (50.78) and 200 back (1:51.78) at Boston College and Pitt, as well as in the 100 back (50.19) against the Fighting Irish … Finished sixth overall in the 200 back (1:45.78) and seventh in the 100 back (48.37) at the Georgia Tech Invitational.
2015-16 (Sophomore): Turned in a strong season for the Jackets … Set career-bests in the 100 back (48.01), 200 back (1:44.25) and 100 free (45.09) events at the GT Qualifier … Also recorded a career-best in the 500 free with a time of 4:31.48 at the 2016 ACC Championships … Secured a spot in the finals in the 100 back, finishing 20th overall … Won the C-final in the 200 back at the ACC Championships with a time of 1:45.13, a then career-best time that he broke a week later at the GT Qualifier … Swam on the 400 free relay unit along with Youssef Hammoud (Sr.), Noah Harasz (So.) and Rodrigo Correia (Fr.) at the ACC Championships, finishing sixth with a time of 2:54.72, which was good for second on the all-time top-10 list for the Jackets … CSCAA Scholar All-American Honorable Mention.
2014-15 (Freshman): Proved versatility for the Jackets as a freshman by swimming eight different events on the season … Competed in four events at the ACC Championships, setting season-best times in all four and scoring points in two events with a 23rd-place finish in the 100 back (48.91) and a 24th-place showing in the 200 back (1:46.56) … Touched the wall with season-best times in the 50 free (21.28) and the 200 free (1:42.01) at the Georgia Tech Invitational.
Before Tech: Helped lead George Walton High School to Cobb County championship in 2014 … Graduated holding school records in the 100 back (49.80), 200 back (1.47.90), 100 free (46.40) and 50 free (21.22) … Was a four-time All-American and First Team All-State selection … Attended St. Andrew’s College in Dublin before his family moved to the United States.
