2022 Third-Team All-ACC
2022 (Redshirt Senior): Started in all 12 games in a breakthrough season for the defensive end … Led all defensive lineman and ranked third overall on the team with 54 tackles, a team-high 14 tackles for loss and a team-best 7.5 sacks … Finished sixth in the ACC in TFLs and sixth in sacks … He also recorded two quarterback hurries and one pass breakup … Recorded five tackles in each of his first four games of the season, also recording two sacks against then-No. 4 Clemson (Sept. 5) … Recorded a season-high seven stops twice … Tallied six solo and one assisted tackle against Virginia (Oct. 20), also recording two tackles for loss … Became the only ACC player that season to record as many as seven tackles, three sacks and four tackles for loss in a single game in the 21-17 win at then-No. 13 North Carolina (Nov. 19), earning Bednarik Award National Defensive Player of the Week and ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week honors.
2021 (Redshirt Junior): Missed the first eight games of the season while recovering from an offseason injury … Made highly anticipated Georgia Tech debut on Nov. 6 at Miami (Fla.) and played in each of the Yellow Jackets’ final four games of the season … Made first GT start at No. 6 Notre Dame (Nov. 20) … Finished the season with four tackles and a half-tackle for loss in limited action.
2017-20 (Old Dominion): Transferred from Old Dominion University with two seasons of eligibility remaining … Was a second-team all-Conference USA honoree as a sophomore in 2019 after starting all 12 games at DE in his first season at the position, finishing tied for 10th in NCAA Division I FBS with 19 tackles for loss (which also tied ODU’s single-season record) … Ranked fourth on the team with 62 tackles, co-led the squad with 3.5 sacks and recovered two fumbles, forcing one and intercepting a pass in ’19 … Had a career game against ACC opponent Virginia Tech, recording eight tackles and 2.0 tackles for loss … Also had six tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss against Virginia … Transitioned to defensive end from tight end during spring of 2019 … Started eight games at tight end for ODU as a redshirt freshman in 2018, hauling in 11 passes for 124 yards.
