One of the ACC’s top sixth men during his final two seasons on the Flats after starting all 31 games as a sophomore … Power forward who has a thin, but strong build and good athletic ability … Made a big leap in production from his freshman to sophomore years and continued that improvement into his junior and senior years … Quick jumper who can defend a wing player as well as his own position … Runs the court effortlessly, has great stamina, and is aggressive on the offensive end … Did not play in 2009-10 following surgery on a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee suffered while playing basketball on Aug. 1 of that year … Underwent successful surgery to repair the ligament 10 days later, and participated in off-season practices in the spring.

Started 14 games as a senior in place of Robert Carter, Jr., who sustained a knee injury … Played through soreness and pain in his own right knee, residue from ACL surgery before his freshman year, over the last few weeks of his senior year … Averaged 8.3 points and 5.1 rebounds, hitting 57 percent of his shots from the floor, in the 14 games he started for Carter, Jr., scoring in double digits six times … Averaged 7.5 ppg and 5.0 rpg and shot 53 percent from the floor overall … In ACC games, averaged 7.7 points and 4.5 rebounds while hitting 56 percent of his field goals … Had a good ACC Tournament, scoring in double digits in both games while hitting 8-of-14 shots from the floor … Averaged 11.0 ppg and 5.0 rpg … Scored a season-high 15 points on 2/13 against Boston College, hitting 6-of-9 from the floor, with nine rebounds and two assists, in his best overall effort of the season … Nine points at Syracuse … Had three double-figure games in his first 15 as a senior, and eight in his last 18 … Turned in an excellent game against Notre Dame on 1/11, scoring 13 points (6-9 FG) and grabbing seven rebounds … Followed with 12 points and five rebounds against Pitt … Added 13 (6-7 FG) at Boston College on 1/21 … Had eleven double-digit scoring games for the year … First three came in consecutive games against Georgia, Dayton and N.C. One of the ACC’s top sixth men who gave Tech good energy off the bench with his aggressiveness in the post after starting all 31 as Tech’s 4-man as a sophomore… Averaged 8.8 ppg (third on the team) in just 19.3 minutes per game, and was the third-leading rebounder at 4.7 per game … Hit 55.8 pct. of his shots from the floor (tops on the team)… Converted 61.4 percent of his free throws, major improvement over his first two years (48.4 pct. as a freshman, 52.7 pct. as a sophomore) … Second on the team with 83 attempts… Did not have a double-digit rebound game, but grabbed as many as eight four times (nine vs. North Carolina and Virginia Tech on the road, eight vs. Duke and Clemson)… Averaged 8.5 ppg (5th on the team currently), 4.5 rpg and shot 55.5 pct. with six double-digit efforts in ACC games… Scored 13 first-half points to help stake the Yellow Jackets to a 37-18 halftime lead at Virginia Tech and 12 in Tech’s Feb. 3 win over Virginia… Scored in double digits in 12 games … Scored a season-high 18 twice, reaching that total in just 18 minutes against Tulane (7-9 FG, 4-5 FT) and 21 minutes at North Carolina (8-13 FG)… Averaged 9.7 ppg and 5.3 rpg in the DirecTV Classic, hitting 10-of-16 FG.

Started 12 of Tech’s 13 games from Mercer on Jan. 31 to Virgnia Tech on Feb. 13, came off the bench as one of Tech’s post options after that … Up and down offensively, but reached double figures twice in a 3-game stretch (Mercer, Boston College) … Led Tech with a career-high 18 points in his ACC debut at Boston College (8-of-10 FG, 2-of-2 FT) … 5-pt, 5-reb performance at Wake Forest March 3 was his best since Clemson (6 pts, 3-4 FG) on Feb. 5 … Solid performance against North Carolina (4 pts, 5 reb, 21 minutes) … Played just 10 minutes against Maryland, but pulled a career-best 7 rebounds … Had Tech’s 2nd-best FG percentage figure (48.9 pct.), and hit 50 pct. in ACC games … Made his first collegiate start against Mercer, and responded with career highs at the time in points (13), field goals (5-6) and free throws (3-4) … Tied his previous career best in rebounds (5) … Active on the offensive boards, more than half of his rebounds came on the offensive glass.

Full name is Kammeon Holsey, goes by “Kam” … Born September 4, 1990 in Milledgeville, Ga. … Son of Gary and Priscilla Hill … Has a twin brother named Garreon … Both parents played competitive basketball in high school … Began playing when he was 5 … Enjoys bowling, fishing, billiards, ice hockey, skating, movies, table tennis and swimming in his spare time … Chose Tech in part because of the academic challenge … On track to receive his bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology and Culture in the spring of 2014.
