2020 (Sophomore): Appeared in 7-of-10 games and made six starts at tight end … Was unavailable for a two-game stretch in September (UCF and Syracuse), as well as the Boston College game (Oct. 24) … Led Tech’s tight ends in receptions (4), receiving yards (38), receiving average (9.5) and touchdowns (1) … Caught two passes for 15 yards in season-opening win at Florida State (Sept. 12) … Caught two passes for 23 yards in season finale versus Pitt (Dec. 10), including the first touchdown of his career, an 18-yarder (which was also the longest reception of his career).
2019 (Freshman): Appeared in 12 games, making two starts at tight end – Virginia Tech (Nov. 16) and against then-No. 4 Georgia (Nov. 30) … Finished with six receptions for 48 receiving yards on the season … Averaged 8 yards per reception … Made his first collegiate catch against South Florida (Sept. 8) for no gain … Also hauled in an 11-yard reception against North Carolina (Oct. 5) and a 10-yard catch at Miami (Fla.) (Oct. 19) … Caught a then-career-long 13-yard pass at Virginia (Nov. 9) … Recorded two receptions for 14 yards.
High School: Rated as a three-star prospect by ESPN and 247Sports … Tabbed as the No. 28-ranked tight end prospect in the nation by ESPN … Standout basketball and baseball player who had Division I offers in both sports, he didn’t begin playing football until midway through his senior season at Shawnee H.S. in 2017 … In five games with Shawnee in ‘17, caught six passes for 94 yards … Utilized a postgraduate year at The Hun School in 2018 and hauled in 12 passes for 282 yards and one touchdown in six games … Averaged 23.5 yards per reception … Scored more than 1,000 points in three high-school basketball seasons, averaging 17.6 points per game … Struck out more than a batter per inning as a senior pitcher on the baseball diamond.
