2017-18 (Freshman): Swam the 50, 100, 200 and 500 free events for the Yellow Jackets on the season … Also swam in the 200 IM and on the Tech relay teams … Recorded the third-fastest time on the team in the 500 free (4:51.03), which ranks seventh all-time in Tech history … Also posted the fifth-best mark on the season for Tech in both the 100 free (51.65) and the 200 free (1:50.17) … Turned in the sixth-fastest time on the year in the 200 IM (2:07:81) … Registered the seventh-best mark on the team in the 100 back (57.49) … Swam the first leg of Tech’s third-fastest 200 free relay time of the season (1:34.32) … Was the third leg of the Jackets’ fastest 800 free relay team on the year (7:09.06) … Registered 16 top-five finishes on the season, highlighted by a first-place finish in the 500 free (5:03.87)  in the final dual meet of the season versus Emory … Also touched the wall in third-place in the 100 IM (59.24) versus Emory … Picked up a runner-up finish in both the 500 free (5:04.50) at Northwestern and in the 50 free (24.55) versus Delta State … Finished third overall in the 200 free versus Pittsburgh (1:52.11) and at Northwestern (1:53.03) … Also turned in a third-place finish in the 200 IM at Notre Dame (2:08.28) and at nationally ranked Georgia (2:09.19), and in the 100 IM (59.24) versus Emory … Placed fourth overall in the 200 IM at Pittsburgh (2:08.93) and at Northwestern (2:07.81), as well as in the 100 free (53.03) versus Delta State and in the 50 free (25.12) at SCAD … Touched the wall in fifth-place overall in the 100 free (53.22) at Notre Dame, in both the 200 free (1:53.14) and 500 free (5:05.95) at Georgia and in both the 200 free (1:52.48) and 500 free (5:06.71) at South Carolina … Finished 12th overall in the 500 free with a finals time of 4:51.03 and 13th in the 200 free with a finals time of 1:50.17 at the Georgia Tech Invitational … Competed for the Yellow Jackets in the 100 free (51.65), 200 free (1:50.74) and 500 free (4:54.99) events at the 2018 ACC Championships.

Before Tech: Lettered for four years on the swim team at Walter Johnson High School under head coach Jamie Grimes … Ranked as high as No. 4 overall in the state of Maryland for the class of 2017 … A two-time team captain … Twice named the team MVP earning the award in both 2014-15 and 2015-16 … Named to the 2015-16 Washington Post All-Metropolitan Team … Set the state record for the 200 IM with a time of 2:02.71 … Led her Walter Johnson swim team to the 2017 Washington Metropolitan Interscholastic Championship title … Recorded a second-place finish in the 100 free (51.65) at the WMIC championship meet … Took first-place overall in the 200 Y IM (2:04.97) and picked up a third-place showing in the 100 Y free (52.74) at the 2016 Maryland Public 4-5 State Championships … Posted first-place finishes in both the 200 Y IM (2:10.81) and the 100 Y free (53.34) at the Maryland 4A3A West Region Championships … Also turned in a second-place finish in the 200 Y IM (2:02.74) and third-place finish in the 100 Y free (51.96) at the 2016 Washington Metropolitan Interscholastic Championships … An honor roll member … Was the committee chair for the Minority Scholars Program for the Montgomery County Schools and also worked with the Best Buddies Program.

Personal: Has an older brother … Maternal grandfather, William Baker, played on the Haitian national soccer team in the 1930s … Chose Tech because of its academics, the location and atmosphere, and how the Institute organizes its majors around themes … Plans to major in international affairs and modern languages.
