2025 (Freshman): Named to the ACC All-Freshman team and became the 43rd Freshman All-American in program history after delivering a dominant 2025 season, playing in 55 games and slashing .316/399/.515 with 16 doubles, seven home runs, 32 RBI and 51 runs scored…After missing the first four games of the season with an illness, Daniel burst onto the scene in conference play, recording a hit in nine of his first 10 ACC games including a 4-for-5 performance with five runs scored at Notre Dame (March 21) – becoming the only Power 4 freshman to score five or more runs in a conference game that season…When he wasn’t impressing with his bat, he was making SportsCenter with his glove, the Cartersville, Ga. product made SportsCenter’s Top 10 plays twice after robbing two home runs from his spot in left field against Louisville and Virginia, helping him to a 4.2 outs above average, the eighth best mark in the nation and fourth-best among Power 4 players…Finished fourth among Power 4 freshman with 51 runs scored and sixth in doubles (16)…drove in a season-high five RBI at Stanford (April 6) thanks to a grand slam, helping Tech become the first team from east of the Rockie Mountains to sweep a three-game series, at Stanford, in the history of Stanford baseball (since 1892)…An ACC Regular Season Champion, Daniel hit his seventh home run of the season in the ACC Quarterfinal game vs. Cal, helping Tech set an ACC Tournament record for the most home runs in a single game, with seven…Reached base in all three games of the Oxford Regional including a two-hit, three-RBI showing in the elimination game vs. Ole Miss…Started 44 games at left field, four as DH, four at second base and two in right field…Moved up and down the order throughout the season, starting at seven different spots in the lineup, mostly in the three-hole for one of the most potent lineups in the country.
High School: Rated as the No. 17 catcher in the country, the 187th overall prospect in his class and the 20th best recruit out of the state of Georgia by Perfect Game … a four-year letterwinner for Cartersville HS, Daniel was a key peice in one of the best high school programs in its class, leading Cartersville to the 5A State Championship series his senior year … named 1st Team All-State AAAAA in 2024.
