2015 All-ACC Academic Team
2015-16:
Spring: Had a 17-7 singles record and a 4-8 record in doubles play during the spring … won 10 consecutive singles matches between March 6 and April 15, all in ACC play … Competed at the No. 5 and 6 position in singles, as well as the No. 3 position in doubles … Clinched a win for Georgia Tech against No. 12 Virginia with a 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 victory over Victoria Oliverez.
Fall: Finished the fall season with a 5-4 singles record and went 3-3 in doubles, playing alongside Megan Kurey and Alexis Prokopuik … Picked up two singles wins in the Miami Fall Invite and advanced to the round of 34 at the USTA/ITA Southeast Regionals .. Also won two singles matches at the Roberta Alison Fall Classic … Advanced to the finals of the Jenny Whalen draw at the Roberta Alison Fall Invite in doubles with Prokopuik.
2014-15
Spring:Tallied a 16-13 overall record in singles and a 9-9 overall record in doubles … Went 9-8 in dual singles matches and 1-6 in doubles matches … In singles, played on courts four through six, tallying 3-2 records on courts four and five. Her singles victory against Allison Miller, 7-5, 1-6, 7-5, at Notre Dame clinched the Yellow Jackets’ 4-3 victory … Prokopuik played on court two in doubles, mostly alongside sophomore Rasheeda McAdoo, where the duo went 2-3 … Was featured in ITA’s doubles rankings after playing in the fall alongside Anton-Ohlmeyer … The tandem was ranked as high as #28 in the first rankings of the 2015 season.
Fall: During the fall tournament season, went 4-5 in singles play and 6-2 in doubles matches alongside double partner Alexa Anton-Ohlmeyer … Recorded two singles wins during the Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Invitational … Advanced to the round of 16 in the singles consolation draw of the USTA/ITA Southeast Regional … Won the Melissa Minor Doubles Draw along Prokopuik during the Roberta Alison Fall Classic after going 3-0 at the tournament.
Juniors: Won the U16 Canadian National Championships and was a member of the Canadian Jr. Fed Cup Team that played in Mexico in 2012 … A member of the National Canadian Junior Tennis Team … Won seven consecutive titles at the BC Provincial Championships … During the Western Canada Summer Games, took home gold, both individually and with her team … From 2006-2012, went to Canadian Nationals with Team BC, winning one title and recording two third place finished …. In the last six Canadian Nationals, has finished in the top eight … Was ranked a high of #162 in the ITF rankings … Won the G2 ITF doubles in Lima Peru in 2014 … In the Tennis Canada rankings, checked in at #2 for the U18 age bracket and was tabbed a five-star recruit by TennisRecruiting.net … Was the 2013 North Shore Sport Award Junior Athlete of the Year for North Vancouver, B.C. … Named the 2012 TennisBC Female Player of the Year … In 2010, was honored with the John William Award for sportsmanship and performance and the Morgan Backhouse Award.
