Jamal Golden’s 100-Yard Kick Return Notes
… Before this season, Georgia Tech last returned a kickoff for a touchdown in 1998. Jamal Golden has returned two kickoffs for touchdowns over the last three games.
… His 100-yard kickoff return was just the fourth of 100 yards (or more in Tech history)
… Golden’s kick return was Tech’s longest since Oct. 31, 1998 when Dez White had a 100-yard return at Maryland
… was Tech’s first-ever kick return for a TD against North Carolina and just its fourth ever in an ACC game
… the only “longer” kick return in Tech history came before all returns in the end zone were credited as 100 yards, in 1919, when Dewey Scarboro had a 102-yard return against Georgetown
