THE FLATS – No. 7 Georgia Tech volleyball (6-2) will host No. 12 Pitt (7-2) in McCamish Pavilion on Oct. 9 at 2 p.m. as previously announced. The top-15 contest between the Yellow Jackets and Panthers in The Thrillerdome will be broadcast on ACC Network.
The match will be etched into Yellow Jacket history as the first volleyball match in McCamish Pavilion on record since the arena replaced Alexander Memorial Coliseum. The White and Gold last competed in Alexander Memorial Coliseum during the 1994 season.
Fans are encouraged to wear gold as the match will serve as this season’s “gold out.” A gold t-shirt giveaway will accompany the match on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tech has sold out all five of its home matches this season through the GT Invitational and Georgia Tech Classic. In 2021, the Yellow Jackets sold out nine of their final 10 regular season matches along with both the first and second rounds of NCAA tournament matches hosted on The Flats.

Owning the fourth highest ranking in program history at No. 7, Georgia Tech will next head to Georgia (9-1) for this year’s edition of Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate on Saturday at 7 p.m. in Stegeman Coliseum.
