- The Yellow Jackets have 13 wins in ACC play on the season, now owning double-digit conference triumphs for four consecutive years.
- Tech has picked up 12 sweeps on the year, including seven in the ACC.
- The Jackets were ranked No. 13 in this week’s AVCA DI Coaches Preseason Poll for the second straight week.
- The 13 spot ties the 10th-highest ranking received by the White and Gold in program history, joining the 2003 squad.

- Senior outside hitter Julia Bergmann owns four ACC Player of the Week recognitions with back-to-back honors on two separate occasions this season, tying her career best and leading the league. Prior to Bergmann a season ago, no one in the ACC had matched the tally since 2015.
- Bergmann also added her second career GameChanger Division I National Player of the Week selection from the AVCA this season, which made her the first Yellow Jacket in program history to garner two career recognitions.
- Bergmann made waves in Tech’s comeback over Florida State specifically, unleashing a career best and program-record tying 38 kills in the match to become the first Yellow Jacket ever with four individual matches of 30 or more kills.
- Following another 26 kills against No. 5 Louisville, the explosive attacker is currently seventh in Tech history in career kills with 1,655 to date.
- Bergmann continues to lead the ACC by a wide margin on the attack, ranking 11th in the NCAA in kills (462) and points (519.5) while placing second in the nation in points per set (6.04) and third in the country in kills per set (5.37).
- In the conference alone, she holds advantages atop the league over the second-place marks by 77 kills, 1.14 kills per set, 62.5 points and 1.02 points per set.
- In individual matches, the lauded outside hitter now owns the top two marks in kills in a match across the ACC and five of the top seven, highlighted by her 38 kills against Florida State leading the way. Bergmann is the only player in the ACC with more than 30 kills in a match this season, having done so twice.
- Mirroring her advantages in kills, Bergmann also owns the top two totals in points, highlighted by 42.5 against Florida State as the closest of any other ACC player to date is 30.5.
- The decorated attacker continues to climb deeper into the Tech record books as she recently became the fifth Yellow Jacket in program history to join the 1,500 kill/1,000 dig club. Having already surpassed 1,500 kills against Boston College, Bergmann eclipsed 1,000 career digs against North Carolina.
- The vaunted Yellow Jacket is also fifth all time in career aces, owning 159 to date.
- Bergmann is up to 11 outings of 20+ kill this season, earning five against ranked opponents, and 11 double doubles.
- Graduate middle blocker Breland Morrissette joins Bergmann with one of the top marks in the country, currently ranking second in the ACC and 14th in the NCAA in hitting percentage (.410).
- Junior setter Bella D’Amico has run Tech’s formidable attack this season as one of the best setters in the league, sitting in fourth in the conference in assists per set (9.98) and fifth in total assists (858).
- Going beyond 2019’s NIVC title, Tech has won 76 of its last 94 matches.
- Over the course of the past four seasons, Georgia Tech is 45-7 at home in O’Keefe Gymnasium. Tech is 304-104 (.745) all time in O’Keefe Gymnasium’s 28-year history.
Series History
- Tech currently leads Clemson 39-35 in the all-time series.
- The Yellow Jackets have defeated the Tigers 12 consecutive times going back to 2016, including eight on The Flats and four on the road.
- The Jackets swept the Tigers at home this season in their most recent matchup.
- The White and Gold lead the series 23-14 at home.
- Tech also claimed nine consecutive matchups from 2000-04, with four coming in O’Keefe Gymnasium and five in Clemson, S.C.

The initiative kicks off with the Accelerate GT Match Program, where any new gift to the A-T Fund’s Athletic Scholarship Fund made through Dec. 31 will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Georgia Tech Foundation, up to $2.5 million.
