LEXINGTON, Ky. – Georgia Tech volleyball (17-3, 8-2 ACC) has been marked No. 14 in the latest AVCA Division I Coaches Top 25 Women’s Poll, the AVCA announced on Monday.
The Yellow Jackets remain among the top 15 in the nation for the second consecutive week after coming in at No. 13 in the AVCA’s rankings a week ago. Since appearing in the Top 25 at No. 12 on Sept. 30, 2020, Tech has been listed in 32 straight top 25 polls to date. The Jackets are joined in the poll by No. 2 Louisville and No. 4 Pitt among the ACC ranks. Tech was also tabbed No. 7 in the NCAA’s Rating Percentage Index, its highest ranking of the season after being listed 10th a week ago.
Tech receives its new position amongst the country’s best following another undefeated ACC weekend in which the Jackets claimed their first win at Syracuse in program history before capping the road trip with a sweep of Boston College.
