THE FLATS — A pair of rookies headlined the #ProJackets’ play in Week 15 of the NFL regular season this past week.
Against arguably the best team in the NFL this season in the New England Patriots, rookie Adam Gotsis had his best professional performance to date with three solo tackles and a pass defended on Sunday, Dec. 18. The three stops were a new career-high for the young Bronco defensive lineman.
Fellow rookie Christopher Milton also had his best game as a pro to date on Sunday, as he recorded a career-high four tackles, three of which were solo stops, and a pass defended in the Indianapolis Colts’ 34-6 win over the Minnesota Vikings.
Broncos’ receiver Demaryius Thomas again grabbed over five catches for the game, making it 13 straight games with five receptions or more. He hauled in seven catches for 91 yards on Sunday against the Patriots to go over 1,000 receiving yards for the season.
