Miller Leads Jackets in Day One Of Kentucky Invitational

Lexington, Ky. – Sophomore Jerome Miller finished first in the men’s high jump with a NCAA Provisional and Georgia Tech school record clear of 7 feet, 1 ¾ inches, to lead the Georgia Tech men’s and women’s track and field teams at the Kentucky Invitational in Day One on Friday night.

Freshman Juan Cave finished second in the men’s high jump with a mark of 6 feet, 11 1/2 inches.

Senior Kira Barcus finished second in the women’s pole vault with a mark of 10 feet, 11 3/4 inches to lead the Jackets. Freshman Kimery Hern finished fourth in the women’s weight throw with a mark of 44 feet, 6 1/4 inches.
