ATHENS, Ga. – Senior Rasheeda McAdoo and junior Johnnise Renaud opened NCAA singles play on Wednesday in the first round of action. The NCAA Singles Championship is being played at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Ga.

SINGLES PLAY: Impacted by several weather delays, No. 48 McAdoo took to the courts first against Vanderbilt’s Sydney Campbell. After No. 15 Campbell took the first set 6-2, the match was suspended due to rain and eventually moved indoors. Campbell took the match with a 6-3 second set win.

The junior broke serve again to take the first set, 6-2. On serve at 1-1 in the second set, Lord went up a break with a 2-1 advantage.
