Promotional Schedule Finalized for Men’s Basketball

THE FLATS – Beginning with a T-shirt giveaway to the first 1,000 fans through the door when the Yellow Jackets host rival Georgia on Saturday, Dec. 22, Georgia Tech has finalized a series of dynamic promotions for its holiday and Atlantic Coast Conference games to enhance the game day experience for Yellow Jacket fans.

Full details and ticket purchase links

For next Saturday’s contest against Georgia, which has sold out, the first 1,000 fans in the doors will receive a free t-shirt which replicates the special “Winter White” jerseys the Yellow Jackets will wear for the game.

Tickets for most of Tech’s ACC games start as low as $15, and the Jackets are offering Holiday Family Zone tickets for as little as $12 for their final two home non-conference games against Kennesaw State (Dec. 28) and USC Upstate (Jan. 2). The ACC slate begins with a pair of home games against Wake Forest on Jan. 5 and No. 13 Virginia Tech (Jan. 9), and the month of January also includes visits from Louisville (Jan. 19), Notre Dame (Jan. 22) and No. 12 North Carolina (Jan. 29).

The Virginia Tech game will mark the return of Level Up Night, this year’s edition features the popular game Fortnite. Current Georgia Tech students will have a chance to win TVs and game systems. Former Tech sharpshooting star and nine-year NBA veteran Anthony Morrow will be honored Saturday, Jan. 19 when Tech plays Louisville. The Notre Dame game features Pastner Things Night which will be a blend of promotional activities focused on Coach Pastner and the popular Netflix show Stranger Things. The North Carolina game (nearly sold out) will be a Gold Out, with all Tech fans being asked to wear their Gold.

February features visits from rival Clemson (Feb. 6), Florida State (Feb. 16) and Pittsburgh (Feb. 20). Tech will celebrate Black History Month the night of the Clemson game, and the Yellow Jackets will honor its legendary point guard and 12-year NBA vet Mark Price at the Florida State game, with a pre-game autograph session and free replica jerseys.

Tech closes out the home schedule March 3 against Boston College, during which Tech will honor its senior class of Brandon Alston and Abdoulaye Gueye.

A number of entertaining halftime performances have been scheduled, including two appearances by the Air Elite Dunk Squad (Dec. 22 vs. Georgia and Jan. 22 vs. Notre Dame), the Frisbee Dogs for the Wake Forest game, Quick Change for North Carolina, the BMX Bike show for Clemson, and the ATL Drum Academy for Florida State.
