AUBURN, Ala. — One day one of the Tiger Track Classic the Georgia Tech track and field team saw Bria Matthews finish first in the women’s triple jump.
Matthews turned in a first-place finish in the triple jump with a 13.30m mark. Mary Claire Solomon also performed well finishing in fourth in the women’s 1500m event with a PR of 4:33.21.
On the men’s side, Henrik Anderson and Sam Costa both ran well in the men’s 1500m event.
Anderson finished in fourth with a PR time of 3:51.67, while Costa turned in a sixth-place finish, running a PR time of 3:52.08.
Day two of the Tiger Track Classic will begin at 11 a.m. with the women’s pole vault at the Hutsell-Rosen Track facility.
