Lynnette Moster Named ACC Player of the Week

Lynnette Moster was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Volleyball Player of the Week after leading the Yellow Jackets to a pair of conference victories over the weekend. The junior outside hitter recorded back-to-back double-doubles in both matches against North Carolina and NC State en route to averaging 4.86 kills per game, 4.14 digs per game and 0.43 service aces per game.

Against North Carolina, the Liberty, Ind., native led all Yellow Jackets with a .381 hitting percentage, connecting on 21 kills in 42 opportunities. Moster also contributed with two service aces on the offensive front. Defensively, she tallied 17 digs and a block solo. On Saturday versus NC State, Moster once again led Tech’s offensive attack with 13 kills and a match-high .435 hitting percentage. She accumulated 12 digs, two blocks, two assists and a service ace to lead the Yellow Jackets passed the Wolfpack, 3-0.

This marks the first time this season and the fifth time in Moster’s career that she has won the award.
