CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Tight end Dylan Leonard, running back Dontae Smith and defensive back Zamari Walton will join head coach Geoff Collins in representing Georgia Tech at the 2022 Atlantic Coast Conference Kickoff on Thursday, July 21 in Charlotte, N.C. The ACC Kickoff is the Atlantic Coast Conference’s annual football media day
Leonard, Smith, Walton and Collins are among the 56 ACC student-athletes and head coaches that will be at The Westin Charlotte to preview their teams ahead of the 2022 season. Georgia Tech will join its Coastal Division rivals for the second day of the ACC Kickoff, as Atlantic Division teams will open up the event on Wednesday, July 20.
Expansive coverage of the ACC Kickoff will be carried on ACC Network, including live coverage from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Thursday. ACCN’s Thursday coverage will include live interviews with Walton at 11:40 a.m., Collins at 2:05 p.m. and Leonard and Smith at 3 p.m. Additionally, ACCN Extra (available on the ESPN app and at watchespn.com) will carry Georgia Tech’s full formal press conference with all four representatives, beginning at 1:30 p.m.
