THE FLATS – Georgia Tech men’s tennis will face Georgia State and The Citadel this weekend.
Tech will face Georgia State at 5:00 p.m. on Friday followed by a doubleheader at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. against The Citadel.
The Yellow Jackets come off a stellar weekend at the MLK Invitational headlined by Keshav Chopra winning both the singles and doubles titles at the event. Chopra also walked away with the ACC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for his efforts on the weekend.
The Jackets feature the highest ranked singles player and doubles pairing in the ACC. Andres Martin is the highest ranked singles player in the ACC at No. 9. Martin and his doubles partner Marcus McDaniel form the No. 3 doubles pairing in the nation, also best in the ACC.
Georgia State features one ranked doubles team in No. 48 Duarte/Grinvalds. The Citadel has no ranked singles players or doubles teams.
Fans are encouraged to park in the family housing parking lot. It is labeled ER66 in the link above.
