ATLANTA – The Georgia Tech women’s tennis team, ranked seventh in the nation with a 2-1 record on the season, returns to action this weekend when they travel to Alabama to face the Crimson Tide Saturday in Tuscaloosa at 2 p.m. EST and then meet the Auburn Tigers Sunday in Auburn at 2 p.m.

Shosho also stands 71st in the polls for singles.
Forming the country’s 42nd-ranked doubles team are senior Kelly Anderson, also ranked 35th in the nation in singles, and sophomore Whitney McCray, while junior Tarryn Rudman stands 25th in the latest singles rankings.
Following this weekend’s matches, the Yellow Jackets will return to Atlanta for their home opener on Thursday against No. 57 Rice at 2 p.m. before hosting the 18th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs Saturday at 12 noon.
