Jackets Race DMR on Day One of ACC Indoors

Day One Results 

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Georgia Tech track and field raced in the men’s and women’s distance medley relay on day one of the 2017 ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships on Thursday night. Day two kicks off on Friday with the 5000m run at 12 p.m.

The women raced first, represented by the team of Charlotte Stephens, Denise Woode, Brittany Powell and Amy Ruiz. The team raced a season-best time of 11:43.50 for an 11th-place finish.

The men took to the track next in the final event of the day. Chris Burnett, Benjamin Jean, Andres Littig and Avery Bartlett raced for the Jackets. The squad finished sixth with a time of 9:44.92.
