THE FLATS – Georgia Tech track and field makes its return to The Flats for the first time since the season opener this weekend as it hosts the Georgia Tech Invitational April 21-22. Competition at the George C. Griffin Track is slated to start at 11 a.m. on both days.
Fan parking is available free of charge in the Family Housing deck located on 10th street.
After taking the last weekend off, the Jackets welcome student-athletes from 24 Division I programs. Tech last competed on The Flats at the Yellow Jacket Invitational to kick off the outdoor season in March. The Jackets posted first-place finishes in seven events during the competition. It is the final meet on the Griffin Track before hosting the 2017 Outdoor Track and Field ACC Championships in May.
